Celestial Space Station

Description:  A synthetic structure designed by Lunarian Technologies to live in outer space.  This station is implemented as a celestial Orbit station (COS) as it doesn’t orbit any particular planet. It is a Modular station due to the fact of being built by multiple modules into forming the existing station allowing for easy/fast upgrades to the station without causing it to close down. Celestial is capable of having beings able to live on it for multiple of years as well as docking/fueling ten spacecrafts at once.

Main Structure:

The framework of the station is made of a special blend of capurnicum(metal) giving it a dark metallic gold color. The basic exoskeleton allows for additional modules to be added onto it, allowing flexibility in operation. This core unit is designed to provide supplies through logistical support to allow the station to be functional permanently and allow lifetime residence on the space station.

Electrical power:

The whole framework of the station is covered in Solarious Panels. These panels convert light from solar and lunar rays to produce electricity.   The panels give a voltage ranging from 180 to 320 volts DC which is then converted to the user-required 124 volts AC to be used around locally.

Energy from the entire space station, aside from fuel for docking spacecrafts is 100% produced from solar/lunar rays.

Altitude control:

Due to the fact that the station doesn’t orbit around a planet the station can be at any altitude. Although it constantly loses altitude because of slight atmospheric drag and gravity gradient effects. The station must make sure if is at least 345km away from any near planet so it doesn’t get sucked into a planets gravitational pull.

G-Force(gravity):

Since the station doesn’t orbit around any planet, it cannot use their gravitational influences as does the ISS. The state of weightlessness is because of the constant free fall of the station.

It must produce its own artificial gravity using an extremely complex system known as G-Force, although no information on how it functions has ever been released by Lunar Tech. The gravitational field on the Station is half as strong as on the Earth’s surface.

Humanoid existence system, HES(Life support):

This system provides fundamentals such as atmospheric pressure, fire detection, oxygen levels and water supply. The highest priority for the HES is the breathable atmosphere, but the system also collects, processes, and stores waste and water produced and used by the crew/civilians.
